As a tutor, it is important to evaluate each individual student and determine their particular learning style. Through my tutoring experiences, I have become very good at identifying these different learning styles and teaching students in the way that best suits them. Learning is a process of gathering and interpreting information. My job as a tutor is to educate students about how to interpret the information that they consume and how to articulate their own ideas, questions and concerns.
HobbiesI am an active volunteer (youth soccer coach) and love to spend time outdoors swimming and hiking with my family. I am an avid reader and a prospective English professor as well as a glassblower specializing in glass marbles and jewelry.
